Humble Beginnings and Ambitious Dreams
Eyal started his first business at the age of 8 years old. A true entrepreneur, he created and sold (at least tried to sell) bags of colorful and aromatic soap. Once he realized that nobody is buying, he started his second business.
At the age of 12 he formed his first business partnership with a local grocer. Eyal had found an inexpensive supplier of candy (Mentos, of all brands...) and distributed it through the grocer's store. He now knew the power of partnership.
Early Challenges and Lessons Learned
Years later, Dr. Ronen launched his first consulting firm, Spotlight Leadership, in partnership with an industry-specific software company in the US: CLS.
One day, very unexpectedly, his wife, Maya, passed away. Eyal followed their plan and moved with their two young kids to a different country. There, he faced significant personal, business, and financial challenges. These setbacks tested his resilience and instilled a deep understanding of perseverance and the power of learning from failure.
Innovating Against the Odds
Undeterred by challenges, Dr. Ronen devised groundbreaking strategies that revolutionized the way partnerships function. He created a new partnership with three other global leaders, married Yael (another partnership of epic scale), and launched the Israeli branch of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO). His unique approach not only overcame hurdles but also set new standards in the industry.
A Defining Moment of Clarity
After helping business leaders around the globe for two decades, Eyal embarked on a journey to find his true purpose. Once he discovered that his mission is to help business leaders cultivate better relationships with themselves and with the people around them, he realized that his superpower lies in enhancing business partnerships, as he has successfully done across various industries—from restaurants to financial institutions and from health-tech to cyber-security.
Embracing a Journey of Lifelong Learning
Committed to growth, Dr. Ronen immersed himself in gaining new skills and insights, becoming a certified trainer in the Process Communication Model, MBTI, Dr. Paul Ekman's science. Eyal has even earned a Grand Diplôme de Cuisine from culinary school - all of this after completing a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology years earlier.
He has collaborated with mentors and experts worldwide throughout his journey and has also coached some of the leading chefs globally. This quest for knowledge has become the foundation of his expertise.
